Lighting test, still just primer, final color to be added after all the light leaks are sorted...

With all the panel gaps in this kit, it’s going to take some light blocking, but it’ll look great when it’s done...

Three “Straw Hat” L.E.Ds light up the main engines. They have in line resistors to drop power to suit the LEDs. This way they should run for ages, without failing like incandescent bulbs would. The L.E.D.s are wired in parallel so if one ever failed, the others would keep running. They wouldn't all fail at once. All this prolongs the life of the model.

Final part of assembly, both halves stuck together and given plenty of time to dry before final gapping and painting...
